Here I come

Seeing as how I haven't written in this thing since November I thought I would get everyone caught up on my life. Since November I have taken a huge swing in the multimedia direction. I dropped more money than I paid for my car on a computer and a camera so I can dominate the video world. I've created a company in the works "LimeJuice Films" and done a few videos with it. Since I'm majoring in marketing my goal is to do promotional videos for all sorts of other companies, people and events. So far I've had a couple jobs and it has been bomb.com. I also got hired as the video specialist for the Business School at USU. The job is incredible and will put me leaps and bounds ahead of other people trying to get into my field.

Me and Twitter have become good friends.

Kinda like Rob and Big.












I feel like facebook is just a place to stalk people and advertise events.

Twitter is a whole new living world that you can talk to anybody about things going on in real time. if you don't tweet more than once a day it's not really worth it, if you post on facebook more than once a day people get sick of you and hide you from their feed. I like the twitter world, It's a pretty dope ride. I know exactly what is going on in real time with anything that I care about. Amazing!

Tomorrow is easter so I thought I'd share a little thought for anyone reading so they can get some good spiritual vibes.

Great message. I really am grateful for my savior and what he has done for me and the world. I hope I can always exemplify him in everything I do.

In closing:
I really do enjoy writing, and writing whatever the heck I want. I also have one h.e.-double hockey stick of a bucket list for this summer so I'll keep it up to date on the ol blog. You just wait. This will be my first real free summer since my mission (since my first year I did summer school and last year I agreed to go to the depths of hell and suffer body, mind and spirit for the entire summer to earn just as much money as I would have if I had stayed home and waited tables at Maddox (which I enjoy), working half the hours and actually enjoying life. Summer Sales will always be an experience to remember. I did make great friends and have a few good experiences so in some way it was good because their friendship means a lot. But never again will I throw myself into such a horrible trap.) This summer I will bask in the sun, Relax in the grass having BBQ's everyday, wakeboard with my homies and get paid to shoot sick videos.

Beef with 3D

So I feel the need to dedicate today's blog to something that's been driving me fetching nuts for the past year. Why in the world do people think that 3D movies and television is the future.... Do we not remember that 3D was invented YEARS ago on cereal boxes? Ya it was pretty cool for maybe a week, or at most 8 days... but after that it was just annoying because every time you wanted to look at the stupid picture you either stared at it without glasses and hurt your eyes or had to find the glasses to look at it, but usually they were ripped in 2 or 3 pieces from the fight you had with your brother or sister earlier that day about who could look through them to see the picture. As we know that FAD died out quick.. Although it is pretty cool that they can do it with moving pictures who in their right mind is going to go out and buy a TV where you have to buy separate glasses to watch it with.. what about people who already wear glasses? do they have perscription 3D glasses? or are they just left out of the equation... doesn't that totally defeat the purpose of 3D.. to have a crystal clear image in 3D.. "well without my glasses everything is blurry so watching a 3D movie with the glasses is pointless because its blurry when I have my normal glasses on and blurry when I have the 3D glasses on. I want a refund!!!" Ya its cool to have the images jumping out at you but it's not like that in real life.  I would much rather them spend money on making bigger HD televisions for cheaper with higher resolution than wasting money on 3D TV's and movies that are only going to be cool for the Tuesday and Wednesday after you buy it. After that on the weekend when everyone wants to come over and watch the game, sucks to be the 20 guys that don't get the glasses.. maybe you can pass them around and everyone can have the glasses for 1 minute each. "oh I hope I'm wearing the glasses when we get a touchdown!" If they really want to make something that everyone can enjoy get off the 3D bandwagon and start working on how to make HD TV's bigger and cheaper.. 3D will never get big enough to be a booming market. it is what it is... a FAD... and FADs live short and die hard. So basically I'm ragging on 3D TV's.. but I still don't and won't pay extra to get into a 3D movie.. they just make me sick. definitely not worth it.

The Party Life

So it came to my attention this past Sunday night at 4 am just before I went to bed that I don't remember a Sunday since I've rolled with the KK1 krew that I didn't have a wristband or a mark on my hand from a party the night before. The party life is definitely keepin me going. I would like to settle down and start a family but I'm not dating anyone so I might as well live it up all I can until that day comes. I believe general authorities have stated "find joy in the journey" and not live my life for tomorrow. So that's what I'm doing. Just following the commandments.... :) in my own way I guess..

Since last time I dedicated my post to my favorite famous female of all time I thought I can't leave my man Robert Dyrdek out of here.

Rob is a beast. He comes up with the best business ideas ever, lives his life and makes everybody believe that what he is doing is the best idea ever. That is his main key to success I would say. He's straight DGL but I'm ok with that... I'm working on becoming him. So I need to get sponsored by a huge company, get amazing at skateboarding, live in LA, hire my cousin to be my assistant, make the most expensive grilled cheese ever, dominate shooting basketballs into hoops 50 feet in the air behind my head...first try, buy a racehorse and jockey it, build my own indoor fantasy factory fully equipped with everything including foam pit, hire a 416lb black man to protect me against the fuzz, get 2 bulldogs and a mini horse, attempt to buy a motel in vegas but back out because its a bad idea, and just flat out love my life. Thanks for the inspiration.

Yes, I am sitting here, 1:30 in the morning, watching the first of the 3 part documentary "Taylor Swift; Journey to Fearless"

One thing I think I need to address here early in the blog. I love Tay Tay and I will stand by that. People say she can't sing... I say how did she sell 1,047,000 albums of her new CD in the first week (which hasn't been done for over 5 years might I add.) if she doesn't have something going for her. Get off her case. She is a talented girl and I don't want to hear any guff from any of you. I don't know what it is about her songs but they're legit. period. She definitely is my current celeb crush, I'm not sayin I'll love her forever, but she's making a good run for it...my old crush was Reese Witherspoon

who is definitely still high on the list, but comes in #2 as long as Tay Tay is around.

Anyways... thats my riff on that. Just thought I'd set the record straight in writing. I don't have any new videos to add today, not a lot happened. I woke up around 11:15 did some stuff for PALS and then came home and watched some wholesome television with my roommate Tyson. Not that eventful.

So I figured I should say something unique about me. I was born in Hawaii on the island of Maui.

So being a native Hawaiian I am very good at the Hula, surfing, the ukulele and of course I can pack down kahalui pork as good as the natives... WORD.

Gettin high off life

So lately I've been a bad person and not gone to school. I believe that I have gone to my chemistry class around 4 times this whole semester... Now before you judge me hear me out. When I do go I feel like its just a total waste. Ya I'll learn 1 or 2 little things here and there but the teacher just gets so off subject and pretty much just covers what is in the book, I see no point in wasting my good sleeping time at 8:30 am and going to listen to him talk about nothing. I'd rather cram and read all the stuff a few days before the test and dominate it that way. What say ye?
Today I went bowling with my PAL calob

here's the little guy right there, couldn't take his eyes off the x-box long enough to look at the camera.. haha. I hang out with him once a week. Last week I didn't know what to do so I took him to best buy and let him play on the X-box while I went around the store learning what it was like to be a daddy and occupy my kid while I went and did things I wanted to do. Kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Don't get me wrong, I tried to play X-box with him but it only had 1 player games. So instead I went and listened to all the sweet headphones blastin some fergie ferg and whatever else was bumpin. I also checked out the new Samsung 3D television and was able to make an informed decision that it is not worth the money and 3D television will die out like the sega dreamcast. If you don't know what that is.... point proven.


Today however we did something a little more productive. We made a sweet video while we bowled our hearts out at The Gutter. I'm thinking about showing it to the gutter and having them use it to advertise how much fun you can have there... get them some business. I could even use it to recruit for PALS.

Wee hours...

So I have this crazy obsession with staying up late.. its what I do. I'm good at it and it brings me joy. There's just something about being the last one in bed.. I have 2 tests tomorrow and I began studying for them pretty much today at 2pm. only for a short time from 5-6ish did I take some time away and eat some food. Then it was back to the grind. Either I continue to live like this and enjoy myself way too much every day but the day before the test and give my soul to the library for 12+ hours and regurgitate all my short term memory only to forget it after the test and party til the next one. Or like an adult, I could study a little bit everyday and still have fun and not be reliant on my amazing short term memory.... but where is the fun in that? as Red Bull would say "nobody ever wishes they would have slept more in college" That has definitely been the motto in my life, and so far have never strayed from it. There's just something about living on the edge... not knowing what will happen, if you're going to pass or fail, but at the end of the day I'm not sure I care... I used to. Now I just live my life how I do, there is no going back and changing things.. I'm getting really good at just moving on and forgetting the past while still trying to learn from my mistakes but when it comes to school... I definitely say FUN COMES FIRST, if I need to study and there is something fun going on, I'll just stay up later than everyone and get it done, who cares what time I wake up. Being tired just makes life that much more interesting, I secretly LOVE the feeling of being ridiculously tired. I feel like everything is funnier and I am a funnier person and that is who I love to be. In fact to prove that here is a little video I made on Saturday displaying how I live life.

 Cleaning Day

for all you that take life too serious,get the stick out of your but and enjoy what you got. do what you love, be who you want to be. Of course you gotta be good and progress in the gospel and learn and do important stuff, but as it says in 2nd Nephi "men are that they might have joy". I don't know how YOU interpret that but I sure as heck know how I do.... :)

The library

I title today's post "The library" because that is where I have been since 1:30 today. And from 5-midnight yesterday... I think I like being here because when I go home I feel like I have accomplished something... no matter how much homework I do. So i could sit here doing random stuff, facebook, blogging, working on Red Bull reports, and a little bit of homework and I go home with no regret. Its pretty legit.

I've also been thinking about halloween and I'm really not that stoked about it this year. I'm practically being dragged to the HOWL, I would stay home but no one will be there so once again peer pressure takes the cake.

Life shmife

So I'm still hot on the quest to find that video that just goes completely viral and gets over a million hits, but so far I haven't come across anything too great but I'll keep my camera rolling for that one time that something amazing does happen and I'll be sure to get it on film. Today's quote is from lds.org. I was looking for some good words from the prophets and thought I'd share this:

I like being happy, but I had never really thought about it this way. The lord knows what will make us happy even when we don't so we just got to trust him that whatever he does is for our good and that everything we want and wish for isn't always going to bring us the happiness we think it will.
I've just switched my major to Marketing with a minor in Multimedia. I'm super stoked to get started but that stokedness is really killing my motivation to finish the classes I have and need to pass now. Hope I can get that done.

I'm still doing a lot of stuff for Red Bull. Got a lot of things to do and due this week and working up until finals, I still enjoy it all and am super stoked I have the job. I feel like I'm killing it a little more than the other SBMs... but don't tell them cause I like them.


Had a good chat with the padres on the sabbath day about making my life better and reaching for my potential, shooting for my dreams, and what my purpose in life is. We decided I'm good at making people laugh so I should write a stand-up bit and perform it sometime. My goal is 1 joke a day. So far its harder than I thought but I'm still determined to get it done. Maybe I will perform it for the Banner Christmas party.... maybe haha.


Life's good....straight up it all just depends on how you look at it.

In the beginning.....

Day 1. 

In my quest to create and market a YouTube video that reaches 1 million views I have decided I need to be active on as many social networks and internet connections as possible. Although I've always wanted to start a blog the thing that ultimately drove me to create it is my ambition to get a YouTube video with 1 million hits. Today I bombed a test. but you know what.... I don't really care because I'm throwing the class to a pass/fail and not going to worry about it. If it snowed tomorrow, it would definitely be the best day ever. Word
